As you can understand, running an operation of this nature is quite a costly exercise. The money received from the courts in lieu of “place of safety fees” does not nearly cover a child’s expenses and we constantly require donations from our sponsors and our community to keep the standard of the Haven and the care given to the children at as high a level as possible.The Haven receives financial support from several donors and companies in the community.   Together with the place of safety fees, the finances are spent in the best interest of the children.

We welcome all donations, whether cash, food, clothes or time. The Board of Directors ensures that all the funds are accounted for on a monthly basis and our monthly meetings ensure the smooth running of the financial affairs of the Haven.
